In response to:
Gordon may run Indy & Coca-Cola
If Robby Gordon Motorsports loses its appeal next week of the penalty levied by NASCAR for a rules violation committed during Daytona Speedweek, Robby Gordon may choose to run the Indianapolis 500 and the Coca-Cola 600 on the same day. Gordon is uncertain whether he would field his own car or drive someone else's. Gordon does believe, though, that he has an excellent opportunity to win this appeal, which will be heard March 5 by the National Stock Car Commission.
No way can he win both races. First of all, he'll need more than one car, just because one probably wont take the abuse of running at top speed for 1100 miles. Second of all, there's no way he'll be able to stay in a healthy, driveable condition while sweating his butt off in his car for hours on end. He'll definitely start getting dehydrated during the second race. I mean, these are two big races in NASCAR and he's trying to do them both on the same day! He might be crazy, but good luck to him.
