I'm not a packers fan, but I am a fan of football and watching good games. Brett Favre gave us all some tremendous games to watch and his retiring is sad for many, but we will all survive, its not the end of the world, or even the NFL. Did the NFL lose a great quarterback? Yes, of course most would agree with that. It's true he only won one superbowl, but he had career stats that will be hard to match. With 61,665 yards, 442 TD's and 3 MVP's
I have heard some believe he will come to regret his decision, that might happen, but don't we all have regrets. Still others say he was pushed out. I doubt he would allow himself to be treated like that way. Great quarterback retire all the time, it's part of life. We should allow this to sink in and then move on.
I believe the Packers will be fine. It's time to welcome Aaron Rodgers to the big games. Some rumors say the Green Bay might try to go after Sage Rosenfels, but I think Aaron Rodgers has earned the right to be a starter in the NFL. He has been there 3 years and bringing in other starting QB would be a slap in the face to Rodgers.
So, even if Favre's last pass was an interception he will go out on top an into the HOF.
