The Faint - "Glass Danse"

To start off, some dance-punk from one of the sweetest underground bands around. The Faint are in the studio right now, and from the bits heard so far, it should be great. 

Foo Fighters -"Long Road to Ruin"

This entry gets in not just because its a very good song, but also because of its hilarious video. 

Muse -"Knights of Cydonia"

This has been one of my favorite songs lately.  its also has an interesting video. The guitar play in this song is great.  

Beastie Boys-"Intergalactic" 

Aah, the Beasties.  I saw some footage of their Madision Square Garden concert, where the crowd filmed it, and pretty much the whole crowd was white people.  My black friend thought that was pretty funny. Great video here.

My Morning Jacket-"ONe Big Holiday" 

One of my new favorite bands.  Even though they're far from metal, they have great metal headbanging.

Every Time I Die-"The New Black"

A great song, and a great video.  A very good breakdown near the end. 

Now, I promised I'd have some real hardcore, to show some people what real "hardcore" is.  I present....

Between the Buried and Me-"White Walls"

The guitar in this song is incredible.  Its not the easiest to hear in this live video, so I encourage you to look up the studio version if it interests you.  Though hardcore isn't my favorite type of music, this is a very diverse band, and this song is incredible.

As for a funny hardcore band, I give you... 

Amon Amarth-"Cry of the Black Birds"

SEE! Viking Metal! Synchronized headbanging! A singer with one pose! A video with vikings!   Yes, all this band writes about are mediveal knights and vikings and the like.

I might just do a whole Sound of Karma with hardcore tinged bands.  I know of ton of them thanks to some friends of mine.
