Those fans that follow both of these programs are very aware of the different outcomes for both programs last year. BYU finished of the year with a win over Oregon in the Las Vegas Bowl. The Cougars finished with an 11-2 record and were crowned Mountain West Conference champions. Utah had a up and down season, but a successful one. The Ute's, who finished 8-5, finished of there season with a win in the Armed Forces Bowl over a very good Tulsa team. Both teams had great seasons, BYU dominated offensively and the Ute's defense was top notch.
I pose the question with both teams losing key players, who will have a better year in 2007? Will BYU repeat as conference champs or will the Utah return to glory as they did in the days of Smith and Myer?

Brian Johnson when he was healthy was ranked among the best in the country in passing profiency...he's back! I look for the Utes to whoop up on "happy valley" once again! BYU should know that there's "opposition in all things."

Unfortunately for Utah fans, Kyle Whittingham is more like Ron McBride than Urban Meyer and I see them digressing back to a below average team. I hope I???m wrong, but I'm much more worried about BYU's QB situation this year than I am about facing the Utes in Provo. BYU v. TCU ??? that???s a different story. The Frogs will be team to beat in the MWC this year.

Hey Utes and Cougars fans. There???s this new site out there; it???s called utesvscougars.net. It???s kind of cool. They have a few articles about upcoming games and stuff, but whats cool is that they have articles about: who???s better between 2004 Utes and the 1984 Cougars; Alex Smith versus Steve Sarkisian and other stuff like that. They also have a page where you can leave any smack talk about anything, and where you can vote on tons of polls. Its not all of this crap where only Utes fans are on some sites and Cougar fans are on others, or where you have to listen to stupid Boise State fans! Just Utes against Cougars! Check it out???
