I know, I know. Selfish play has ruined the game, and Lebron is a standout young man who shares the rock. HOWEVER. Lebron is a transcendent player who has gifts that just about nobody has. Right now, he lacks the maturity to be a Champ. His game is so solid, but he focuses so much on sharing it and not being perceived as selfish, that he passes when he should hold. All the great ones have been ball hogs, period. Even when they have the assists, they still want it when the clock is going down and to pass away the last shot of the game is just backwards.
Lebron needs to realize that it is HIS greatness and HIS playing that will win him a ring. If he wants to pass it to his sidekicks to win games, then he is going to be waiting a long time, and may end up just another 'he was great, but' guys, like Dominic Wilkins, Grant Hill, KG, and others.

Lebron James has a good team and people who believe he should do it on his own will ruin his chances at a championship. Michael Jordan for instance another player who had gifts nobdody has could get it done alone but he needed lots of help. Lebron should focus on team in today's NBA no one could get it done alone the detroit pistion and san antonio spurs are perfect examples. The Pistons have 5 guys who can get you 20 points a night Lebron James can get you 30 but where is the other 70 points going to come from he is an all around player the pieces around him is what's going to win him a championship and right now he just does not have the right pieces, a few are there like Larry Hughes, Anderson Varejao, Z, these players compliment Lebron's game but what he needs more of is hard nosed players like magic had who make hard cuts to the basketball and get themselves in the right places to make him look great Magic was the motor of those Laker teams but he had great players around him players that could get him 20 points a night, but I do agree he must be more aggresive in pressure situations cause he is the most talented player in the league with all the advantages in his favor when the game is on the line, but this does not mean he should take every game winning shot Jordan didn't and neither should he.

I would have did the exact thing LeBron did which was pass it out to the wide open Marshall for 3 to steal game 1 on the road in the eastern conference finals. Jordan would have did the same thing also. Will you PLEASE lay off of LeBron.

I agree that he needs help, but my point is that when it comes time for game winning shots..superstars like Lebron have to live for that moment, and while it was a 'wise' play to pass it out, I think he should have asserted himself and took the shot himself, as a more aggressive Champ would have done, like say Michael, or Bird

See...more proof tonight. If Lebron would have dug into his killer instinct last game, this game he wouldnt have been so out of place trying to make a game winner. Lebron, we love ya kid, maybe next season....
