the last few throwdowns i have read are horrible.
its kind of pointless to argue about a topic thats really obvious or you know there is noway you are going to win.
all i want is to see an argument about something in regards sports that most people overlook. eg....... ESPN tv guide shows (Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) finals and yet they decide to show the clemens final minor league game.
a good throwdown should be (how come ESPN is failing to promote a sport they have sport writers comment about and why is failing in the US.....soccer ) instead all the throwdowns we read are POKER IS A SPORT, BASEBALL IS BETTER THAN FOOTBALL(these are two different sports and should not be compared the best argument here would be BASEBALL IS FAR BETTER THAN SOFTBALL or FAR MORE INTERESTING THAN SOFTBALL.

Baseball is far better than softball would be a dumb throdown, because the user majority of this site is male, and of course would say baseball is, so that would also be an easy win.

You are right about the irritating throwdowns. The ones I hate the most are the ones that don't take a side. They say something like "What's the best NFL franchise?" Once you get inside, they pick a team, but that's gotta be in the title, or how do you know whether you want to accept that throwdown?
