Alright, guys. I've been gettin a lotta hate and some confusion over the purpose of this group. "I'M GLAD HE'S GONE" is not a hate group, nor is it filled with fans who hate Brett Favre. Rather, it is a group for people who have already grown weary of fans and media sources who have constantly been revering Favre as a saint and a blessed man and would like refuge from this social outpouring of love and affection towards him.

I speak for the group when I say this. We do not express any form of hate against Brett Favre, nor do we wish to spread lies and slander about him, nor do we mean to anger or disgrace any Favre/Green Bay Packer fans out there. We are simply here because this is the sole place where fans can come and never hear the phrases "Favre is one of the best ever", "Come back, Brett." , or "Favre, we will miss you.".

I apologize for making this group's purpose unclear or for angering anyone who saw this group and thought it meant we despise Brett Favre. We greatly respect Brett Favre and his long, successful career in the NFL and appreciate the contributions he has made to the game.

For this confusion we have created among fans, I, the owner and operator of "I'M GLAD HE'S GONE" is truly, wholeheartedly sorry.

In other news, we are considering changing the group to involving any sports, teams, coaches, general managers, players, or TV personalities that we dislike or find socially/emotionally/morally imbalanced or is just a downright poor athlete/commentator/GM/coach, rather than limit our feelings on Brett Favre alone.
