Sampson is gone and the Indiana Hoosiers are done. What a pitiful loss to Penn St. The Hoosiers were final four contenders now they would be lucky to make it to the sweet 16. Considering the Hoosiers are the most talented team in the Big Ten and top 5 overall talent wise in the NCAA, is saying a lot. So for one more year the "basketball state" has to suffer through IU's let down. I know what you're thinking the state of Indiana still has Butler and Purdue. Come on, do not try to say you have them in your final four. And do not get me started on the Pacers that's just bad. The last chance IU has to get over Sampson and try to win a national championship is the Big Ten Tournament. If they can go out and play Hoosier basketball then IU may get back on track and win more than 1 game in the NCAA Tournament.

I feel your pain over a lost season, but in no way shape or form is IU top 5 in the NCAA. North Carolina, Memphis, UCLA, Kansas, Texas, Tennessee, USC, Georgetown, Connecticut, Louisville are all at least equal to the Hoosiers in talent level. IU was always a long shot to make it to the Final Four; now they're a long shot to make it to the Sweet 16. Here's to hoping that the IU Athletic Department writes Dakich a nice letter of recommendation for his next job and then sets about trying to lure Sean Miller away from Xavier.

I'm from Bloomington, Indiana, born & raised. I gave up hope & so did everyone else when they(I.U.) fired Bobby Knight, for no reason. This town/state will never be the same! However, i put my faith in the Butler Bulldogs,GO BULLDOGS!!! All the way BABY! Take it to the top for all of us!
