19 games to go and 7 points out of the final playoff spot.  I suppose it's not unheard of for a team to fall in to the playoffs with those numbers sitting in front of them, but can a team who's two biggest stars are 19 years old do it?  I definitely like what I am seeing on the ice of the United Center this year with Toews and Kane and to be honest, I am ok if they don't make it in.  Only because the future looks so bright.  I have to wonder where we could be sitting without Toews missing those 15 games.

SO Blackhawks fans - don't freak if we don't get in to the playoffs this year.  Although a first round match up with the Wings could be sweet.  I am positive we are going to have many playoff games in the future with these players.  Assuming that management makes the right moves, this will be a team competing for the West for several years.
