Darcy Regier Must Go

The Buffalo Sabres are 2 players away from being great again.  We need a top defenseman (Which we just traded away) and a top flight leader guy (Why oh why is Drury in New York?)

Why am I stating the same thing that we Sabres fans have been kvetching about all along?  Because it needs to be repeated, shouted from the rooftops, emailed to any sabres address possible until something is done.  Darcy Regier has cautioned this franchise right into a corner.  We should have had a deal with Drury, and we should have had a deal with Campbell.  There is no negotiation on either of these points any longer, as far as I'm concerned.

This team is talented, the players are talented, the coach is one of the very best - but he can only work with what the GM gives him... the lack of leadership on the ice is painfully evident night in and night out.  If Darcy isn't up for correcting this problem, then we need a GM who will.

The Sabres should be great, but they aren't, it's time to make a change!

Darcy must go because since he arrived here in 1998 the Sabres have lost 1 coach, 6 players that have worn a 'C', 7 30+ goal scorers, 4 defensemen and 2 goalees. All totat 19 players were lost and replaced with garbage or draft picks that take 5 years to develop or don't do a thing. I can see why the Sabres can't finish the job they started in Dallas in 1999. If the owner is to cheap to fire Darcy because he doesn't want to pay 2 GM. Then he is at fault for giving him a guaranteed contract for 4 more seasons.
