It's Football Friday and you know what that means...it's time to make some picks for week 6 in the NFL.  Off to a good start this week with the Chicago Bears winning though it wasn't easy.  Once again though, Eli Manning threw the game away for the Giants.  Three picks on the night, the last one slightly overthrown.  The Giants played hard though.  Very good chance they end the losing streak versus Minnesota next Monday night.  Trying to take the taste out of the last three games last week out of my mouth going 0-3.  Terrible.  9-5 overall last week.  Looking for improvement in week 6.  Let's get right to some NFL previews and predictions in "the stack" for today, Friday, October 11:

Green Bay Packers @ Baltimore Ravens 1:00 PM ET FOX

Both teams haven't looked overly impressive so far this season, but the Ravens are starting to get on a roll. The Packers got a win last week, but are missing linebacker Clay Matthews and that could really hurt them against a Ravens offense that should be getting more weapons back in Jacoby Jones and Marlon Brown.  Not a lot of people seem to think the Ravens can win, but their defense is playing better and no Matthews hurts the Packers defense a lot.

Prediction: Ravens 30 Packers 24

Cincinnati Bengals @ Buffalo Bills 1:00 PM ET CBS

The Bengals struggle with teams they should beat pretty easily (see Cleveland, even Pittsburgh was a tough game for them).  But the Bengals are going against Thad Lewis.  If they get some guys back in their secondary, they should win pretty easily.

Prediction: Bengals 23 Bills 13

Detroit Lions @ Cleveland Browns 1:00 PM ET FOX

If Calvin Johnson can't go, this game is a toss up.  Browns defense will make life difficult for the Lions offense.  I'm just not confident that Brandon Weeden can be that guy that leads the Browns to a fourth straight victory.

Prediction: Lions 20 Browns 17

St. Louis Rams @ Houston Texans 1:00 PM ET FOX

Matt Schaub is on a very short leash.  He has angry trespassers visiting him.  He can ill-afford to lose this game, let alone throw an interception that is returned for a touchdown in a fifth consecutive game.  He won't do that again, will he?

Prediction: Texans 24 Rams 13

Oakland Raiders @ Kansas City Chiefs 1:00 PM ET CBS

Raiders will make this game interesting because Terrelle Pryor will keep them in this game.  Ultimately though, the Chiefs have too good of a defense, they don't make a lot of mistakes and they're playing at home.  That makes enough of a difference.

Prediction: Chiefs 26 Raiders 16

Carolina Panthers @ Minnesota Vikings 1:00 PM ET FOX

Vikings fans can breathe a little easier knowing that Matt Cassel is likely to start at quarterback.  They'll be on his side...until he loses.  Both teams need a win and badly.  The Vikings need to come out with the same sense of urgency that they did in London.  Cam Newton has not looked good in the second halves of games this year.  Watch the Vikings make him look like a star.

Prediction: Vikings 27 Panthers 17

Pittsburgh Steelers @ New York Jets 1:00 PM ET CBS

Few expected the Steelers to be this bad at 0-4.  Even fewer thought the Jets would be 3-2.  Can they be 4-2?!! I have a lot more confidence that they'll do it over the Steelers getting a win.

Prediction: Jets 24 Steelers 20

Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers 1:00 PM ET FOX

Regardless of who starts at quarterback, Nick Foles or Michael Vick, the Eagles shouldn't have much trouble against the sinking ship that is the Bucs.  Heck, the Eagles defense might even look good for once.

Prediction: Eagles 30 Bucs 13

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Denver Broncos 4:05 PM ET CBS

Good thing the Twitter war between the Jaguars and Broncos earlier this week was entertaining because this game certainly won't be.  Will we even see the Broncos offensive starters play more than a half?

Prediction: Broncos 41 Jaguars 14

Tennessee Titans @Seattle Seahawks 4:05 PM ET CBS

Poor Titans.  Seahawks are coming off of a loss last week to the Colts and they are looking to take out their frustration.  This game could get ugly.

Prediction: Seahawks 34 Titans 17

New Orleans Saints @ New England Patriots 4:25 PM ET FOX

Hey New England: six points won't be enough to beat the Saints.  Even with Rob Gronkowski, they won't score enough points to beat the Saints.  Top two tight ends in the league square off in this one. Jimmy Graham is the best.

Prediction: Saints 27 Patriots 20

Arizona Cardinals @ San Francisco 49ers 4:25 PM ET FOX

The Cardinals offense struggled last week.  Might struggle again this week against the 49ers.  The 49ers are going back to the ground and pound.  That should make for a nice day and a nice win.

Prediction: 49ers 27 Cardinals 10

Washington Redskins @ Dallas Cowboys 8:30 PM ET NBC

The Cowboys lost a heartbreaker last week, but they played the best team in the league.  Their offense is just fine.  Tony Romo will play just fine against a terrible Redskins defense and the Cowboys defense will respond with a much better outing against the Redskins.  RGIII still isn't himself and until he is, the Redskins will not succeed.  At least they get Alfred Morris back.

Prediction: Cowboys 34 Redskins 20
