Moreno probably would have been better than Mcfadden last year if he didn't have to share carries with Brown. Moreno has excellent speed and illusiveness, he also has shown the strength to run people over. Brown got more carries than Moreno but he still ran for more than 1,000 yards. Next year I expect him to get close to 2,000 yards. I don't think that Moreno can carry the team to a national title, seeing as UGa has one of the hardest schedules and they play in the toughest confrence, but I think we can expect great things from him and UGa.

There's a lot of contingencies to win the Heisman.
Tebow got rid of the non-sophmore "rule."
Usually a player wins from the team that looks the best, like Troy Smith winning it over Chris Leak even though Leak had better stats. It would help Moreno if UGA was and stayed #1 at the end of the season. King might take some of his carries, but we'll see how effective King is over Moreno. It's always good to have 2 backs too so that the starter doesn't get injurred or exhausted.
Most of all, a player needs those solid stats. Moreno proved he can perform and carry the load, but I'm hoping he doesn't go through a sophomore slump.

Report Offensive CommentI think Moreno will win the Heisman next year, and if not, he'll certainly win it sometime in his career at Georgia. He was great last year when he got the ball. Now that he's the Number One back, he'll be even better this year.
