This is it Raider Nation!
Finally game 8 and this game is the turning point for a winning/tying season or another heart breaking ordeal for the next 9 weeks to be a Raiders Fan. Their next opponent has surprisingly had an aweful start, their special privileges were even taken away in their locker rooms, thats right, no ping pong players in the Steelers clubhouse anymore.
With Pryor available for this game I see the Raiders in good position to steal a win at home over the Steelers. The Raiders have lost to 3 teams that made the playoffs last season, and were able to score in double digits. The only game that they were blown out was against a Kansas City team with a top ranked defense and a game that was played in a stadium where the 12th man played havoc to an inexperienced QB.
The bright side is that the Steelers aren't what they historically should be. Steelers have lost to 2 weak opponents, Titans and Vikings. If the Raiders can get past the Steelers, and I like their chances against the current Steelers, they face 6 potentially winable games. That should give this season's Raiders an 8-8 record. Not what you want but beggers can't be choosers.
This game is highly the most important game of the season and the Raiders can change their fortunes around compared to last season. Pryor is still a fresh commodity for Defensive Coordinators to figure out and is doing ok passing the ball. But just like Kaeps, Russell, RGIII and Luck, he has the running ability to move the chains and keep the Raiders in the game.
Good luck Raider Nation!
