There always seems to be a common theme in UGA football fans' thought process: "next year."

I've already heard talk about the 2009 season possibly being the year of the Dawg b/c of 2008's tough schedule.  This is not good thinking b/c the Dawgs will never win the title, and I mean national title, if we always say "next year."  2008 is the year. 2008 is this year, the dawgs will be highly ranked preseason, so this is the year. No talking about 2009, ok? Even Richt and the team have a new slogan that says, 'Live in the moment.' I suggest for the fans to take this mindset also, and hopefully it'll create some positive vibes for the team.  This slogan is very insightful b/c it is remeniscint of somthing Yoda once said, "A Jedi must have the deepest commitment, the most serious mind. [Referring to Luke] This one a long time have I watched. Never his mind on where he was. Hmm? What he was doing."

That's right I quoted Yoda, but this quote is very relevant. One must be able to see the future, in a manner of speaking, but still have one's mind concentrated on the present.

This is the year for the dawgs! 2008! Now do it to it!

I think I'm gonna puke. Georgia has an unforgettable, emotional three-day run of victories in our arena after our city gets trashed by a tornado? God must hate the Jackets.

Georgia will lose to Bama and Florida, but they will win the East and beat Auburn for the second time in the SEC Championship. It wil be up to the committee on whether they want to out Texas/ Mizzou in the NC game against USC over UGA. Ohio State will most likely lose only to USC, but they are Ohio State, and the BCS won't be fooled for the third time in a row.

I dunno. If OSU has only one loss, they could back into the title game one more time. I've already made my pick with OSU for that game too.

I think the Jacket in the middle of the court might have driven the bulldogs with spite. Sadly for UGA, I bet GT will have their time someday. Just not today! Hahahahahah!

If I had to guess now, Bama, ASU, and Florida will be the three most likely to beat Georgia (especially UF b/c they've got a lot of talent back too).

I dunno, USC, OU, UF/UGA winner, and OSU could all go to the title game. It's too early to tell.

Plz nobody say anything about OSU anymore. Two blowouts against SEC teams in a row and people still wanna talk about them in a BCS championship. Also Bama or ASU beatin georgia next year give me a break georgia has an amazing team returning and some new talent in the form of C aleb King. Florida im still not sure about because while Tebow was great last year i dont see opponents falling for him two seasons in a row. Now everyone will be waiting for Tebow to run it and he is gonna get hit hard. My picks for BCS CHamionship Georgia against USC.

My thing is trying to oppose the love fest the media has with USC(alifornia). The only have 1 OL returning and they're replacing their QB, RB, TE, and still have to deal with a not-so-great WR core. I think someone else is going to the NC game like Oklahoma or Mizzou.

Dawgs fans been playing that same broken record for 27 yrs and still counting. They will fall flat(again) use pathetic excuses as always. Every year uga goes from contenders to pretenders...and again they UGA fans will start that same old chant..." Wait till next year"

exactly, that's why it is about his year and this year alone.

Georgia has a very good team. They do start with 2 absolute cream puffs on their schedule. Certainly they have 2 difficult games on the road with LSU and Auburn (maybe S. Carolina given the difficulty beating Mr. Spurrier in the past). They have a neutral site game in Jacksonville against the Gators. Yes, it's neutral, I go every year, 50% dawgs (sp?) and 50% Gators, despite what coach Donovan says on ESPN. The dawgs (sp?) screwed the pooch (pun intended), when they had the "I can't believe we scored a touchdown" Richt initiated dance at the cocktail party last year. Moreno will have a good game against the Gators, but remember the Gators have Moreno x 3...Rainey, Moody, Harvin...and all you Gator haters need to google Jeffery Demps, you'll know his name by the Florida-Georgia game. By the way dawgs (sp?), no bye week this year and 14-2 in the last 16 seasons. Go SEC, Go Gators and have a fantastic season. I just hope we all don't beat each other up so much that Ohio State and Oklahoma play for the BCS title. All for now.
