Like a great barleywine or stout, this group just keeps getting better with age. I welcome you back once again to this latest edition, and compliment your exquisite choice in internet reading material. Today's version will surely not let you down, as we continue our preview of the NBA season, and this time take a look at the Eastern Conference. So sit back, relax, enjoy the material as you open up a fine beer of your choice and pour that puppy into a well-chilled mug. I feel sorry for people who don't drink. They wake up in the morning and that's the best they're going to feel all day. - Frank Sinatra

Atlantic Division

1. Brooklynn Nets

2. New York Knicks

3. Toronto Raptors

4. Boston Celtics

5. Philadelphia 76ers

So this division is basically the Nets, the Knicks, and then 3 tons of outright garbage. The Raptors might be ok. The Sixers are tanking the season before it even starts, and there is little chance Rajon Rondo will be a Celtic after the trade deadline. The Nets should be fine as long as they don't run short of Geritol and Depends before the playoffs. For the Knicks it will be one last run (unsuccessful) for the end of the Carmelo Era.

Central Division

1. Chicago Bulls

2. Indian Pacers

3. Cleveland Cavaliers

4. Detroit Pistons

5. Milwaukee Bucks

Obviously, I see the Bulls and Derrick Rose returning to the top in this division. Pacers will still be tough, and boring, like they always are. The Cavs have a good core, and whether Bynum plays much or not should improve over last year's team. Detroit still has some potential but not every plan is going to turn out this year. And the Bucks are better off just losing and getting a better spot in the lottery this year.

Southeast Division

1. Miami Heat (duh)

2. Atlanta Hawks

3. Washington Wizards

4. Charlotte Bobcats/Hornets whatever they are

5. Orlando Magic

Without question the Miami Heat win the division, the only thing unknown is by how much. Is this the year they finally win 70+? Theyll have some tougher competition among the Easts best teams - but that won't really matter until the playoffs. The Hawks are the best of the rest and the Wizards will have John Wall hopefully for more than half the season this year. The Bobcats and Magic fight it out to see who gets the most ping pong balls in the Wiggins Race.

NBA EAST Seeds

1. Miami Heat

2. Chicago Bulls

3. Brooklynn Nets

4. Indiana Pacers

5. Atlanta Hawks

6. New York Knicks

7. Washington Wizards

8. Cleveland Cavaliers

Well that's all I got. Hope you all have a great weekend. I had some Ranger IPA last night, which is New Belgium Brewings (famous for Fat Tire) IPA offering. It was good, not great. Readily available though, which is many times a deciding factor. So many brews overlook the convenience factor. Haven't yet decided what I will imbibe tonight. Have fun and drink good beer.

I enjoy your taste in babes.

The jury is still out about your NBA predictions.
