This is the story of the year. The Bulldogs who were in the basement of the SEC and were on the NIT bubble were looking at a one and done in the SEC tourney. Then the odds were piled up even higher against them when damage to the Georgia Dome moved the tourney to Georgia Tech's stadium and forced Georgia to play two NCAA tourney bound teams in Kentucky and Missisippi State. But the Bulldogs showed some bite, winning both games on Saturday and giving them a shot at Arkansas, another tourney bound team. The Bulldogs pulled away quick, but lost their legs at the end of the first half, allowing the Razorbacks to come back, but Georgia found ways to keep their lead and earned a berth in the tourney. They will likely lose to Xavier, but I'll be pulling for them on Thursday.
