Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, fellow Tribe fans and all the representatives of Illinois's law enforcement community that have chosen to join us here in the Palace Hotel Ballroom at this time...but I digress.  My name is Adam and I have just been appointed as the administrator of this esteemed Cleveland Indians Fan Group's Blog.  I couldn't be more excited...for what I don't know, but I am excited for something, mostly because it is a lazy Friday afternoon at work and accomplishing anything of note just ain't in the cards.  I'm not quite sure if my diatribes (no pun intended) here will be at all frequent or if I might become obsessed because I am on a computer all day at work anyway, but I wanted to give this whole blogging thing a shot and what better way to say hey then to pass notes around on my favorite baseball team, the Cleveland Indians.  I'll try to make sure that my posts are brief and to the point, but also to get y'all fired up about what could be one of the best Indians teams we have seen since, dare I say it, 1995?  Rest assured, there were be Major League quotes a plenty as well as full disclosure that I was a Tribe intern in the summer of 2002 so I am quite enamored with the organization as a whole.  I would first like to state that my fantasy team currently consists of Grady Sizemore, C.C. Sabathia, Jhonny Peralta, Casey Blake, Fausto Carmona and Victor Martinez with former Tribe hands Bob Wickman and Brandon Phillips also anchoring the staff.  Secondly, BIG series this weekend against the Tigers and next week against the Red Sawx, good initial gauges of how the Indians stack up against the two best teams in baseball.  So, with that I urge all of you to weigh in with your gripes, opinions, truth and rumors about the Tribe but please, whatever you do, don't drive angry.  Late.
