I'm not here to brag about my teams, just to give the facts and update the latest infomation.

CELTICS:

The Celtics were down by 22 in last nights' game at San Antonio.  I personally thought they had too big a hill to climb to get back in the game.  I should have had more faith, afterall they do have the best record in the NBA and they proved me wrong.  San Antonio seemed to do everything right and they stymied the Celtics at every turn. San Antonio lead by 10 at half time.  Celtics went on a 15-2 run to start the 3rd quarter and chipped away at the lead.  Back and forth the game went. Ginobili (SA) had a great night with 32 points.  Celtics hero was Sam Cassell, but it came down to the last second of the game and the Celtics pulled it off with a 93-91 win.  Tonight the Celtics will try to stop the Rockets 22 game win streak.  Go Celtics!!!!

DODGERS:

Tommy Lasorda, now 80 says goodbye to Dodgertown in Vero Beach, Fl.  After 60 years the Dodgers will move spring training to Arizona.  The players crossed their bats overhead in a sacred baseball tradition to form a tunnel for him to walk thru.  His memories will stay with him but he said, "In all probability, I'll never be here again". The Dodgers lost to Houston 12-10 on this historical day.  Spring training record: 8-13.

PATRIOTS:

Just an update on what's been happening to the most "hated" team in the NFL.  That's right.....The 16-0 New England Patriots. Tom Brady is still the number one quarterback and Randy Moss is still his go to reciever.  Re-signed Jabar Gaffney.  The offense remains mostly intact.  The defense needs repairs.  They lost Asante Samuel, Eugene Wilson and Randall Gay.  They did sign Tank Williams, Jason Weaver and Lewis Sanders.  The re-signed fan favorite Tedy Bruschi.  The may lose Jr. Seau to retirement, although if he decides to come back it will be with the Patriots. Troy Brown was not in their plans and is an unrestricted Fee agent.  Anyway, the defensive backfield remains a work in progress.  There are options: like Ty Law or Takeo Spikes.  It remains to be seen what interest the Pats will have.  The also have the 7th pick (from S.F.) in the upcoming draft.  Only time will tell.  I'm sure they will be ready when the time comes.
