He's sitting @ 99 points, and still waiting to score 60 goals. But these next two nights--tonight against Nashville, and tomorrow night @ Chicago--should be Alex Ovechkin's best opportunities to vault into that rarified air of 60 goals/100 points for the season.
All the while, we Caps fans will be watching the standings in the papers to see if we vault into the 8th (and final) spot for the playoffs. The Flyers aren't playing tonight, so we've got the chance to take that spot should we win.
