Raiders did their best Sunday afternoon to bear down and grab that #1 overall pick - unfortunately the Texans wrapped this up last month with their loss to the Raiders. Undeterred, the Raiders seem fully committed to drafting #2 overall this spring, a fact borne out by their performance yesterday. The Silver and Black were firing on all cylinders, deadset on getting the loss.

The defense once again did their part, with their "tackling optional" philosophy, allowing KC to virtually score at will. Rumor has it someone saw cooties in Jamaal Charles' hair. When you're playing on a 1-year contract, and you'd really like to be sitting on your couch next year instead of playing in the NFL, that's more than enough inspiration.

The offense contributed to the cause as well, giving up 7 turnovers. Matt McGloin was outstanding in this department, at one point throwing the ball directly to a Chiefs linebacker. "I'm just trying to show the coaching staff just enough to see I deserve to hold Derek Carr's clipboard next year" McGloin was heard to say. Well done Matt!

Coming in for garbage time was Terrelle Pryor, after some fantastic Raider fans were heard chanting his name. When interviewed after the game, it was discovered that the fans who were yelling for Pryor had never actually seen an American football game before, nor had they ever watched Pryor actually play. TP responded appropriately, throwing miserable lame duck passes before capping it off with a typical cross-field interception of his own, just to show the coaching staff what good it does to draft a "project" player in the next draft. Way to go Terrelle!

Yeah, Sunday sucked. I want to thank the Oakland Raiders for wasting 3 1/2 hours of my life I'll never get back.

We need the Skins to win out, and the Jags to win one more

I was spared the misery of watching that game, did see the scroll go by and the Raiders were down big in the 1st quarter sort of knew it'd be a bad day in Oakland.

What's tougher being a Raider fan or a Cowboy fan? That franchise has played exact .500 football since 1996 something 136 wins and 136 losses, not sure about the exact amount and they are 7-7 this year, HA!

At least the Raiders had a few really good years in the same time span under Chunky, would have really been interesting to see them play the Steelers in 2001 be it not for the tuck rule.

It must be tough to be a Cowboys fan. At least in the Raiders, we know we have a terrible roster. The Cowboys seem ready for a SB run every year and yet still finish 8-8

I'm still waiting for the Raiders to show up... Damn what a horrible game. You'd think screen passes were the be all end all of the NFL. THREE times too. Just awful.

I'm heading down to SD next weekend for the game. Now I'm not so sure I want to go :-(

Better to visit Lego Land than watch the Raiders give another game away before Xmas.
