Twenty four years ago, a protest that turned into a popular uprising in Romania began the down fall of the Supreme leader. The once popular Statesman was marked by disaster after disaster and was increasingly more tyrannical and corrupt. Finally the people whom he had sworn to serve and protect had enough and revolted against him. Am I saying that the Dallas Cowboys Owner, President, and General Manager are like Nicolae Ceausescu? The answer is a resounding hell no. But are there any parallels here? Well... maybe. Sunday December 15, 2013 a date that will live in shame for the Dallas Cowboys fans and all those who follow them. This is the date that we as a fan nation should come together and demand the Cowboys Dear Leader change course. We, as the true and rabid fans that we are, have invested way too much sweat, effort, tears and yes at times blood for this franchise and deserve better. We are not asking for too much but damn and hell no should we sit idly by and let this team self-destruct in front of our 55 flat inch screen TV. We shouldn't have to see a primadona receiver just walk out on his team just so that he can cry in the safety of his locker room. We shouldn't have to hear a head coach throw his quarterback under the bus just to save face. Garrett you sorry sob you had all the time in the world during that time-out to change the play. Tony Romo did what you trained him to do, you called that play. Tony changed the play because HE HAD THAT OPTION. There were 9 defenders in the box and the play book indicates to do exactly what Tony did, it was the right call. Too bad he had to run for his life and didn't properly set his feet before throwing that interception. We shouldn't have to see this high salary coaching staff meltdown in the second quarter and stop its own successful running attack. We shouldn't have to see the OC walk out of the stadium without defending his decisions. This takes me back to the game where Garrett iced his own field goal kicker. This is freaking insane!!! The Cowboys Supreme Leader promised us fans back in 1989 that he would do his best to make this team a winner again. He promised us that he would do whatever it took to make this club a winner. Well let me give Mr. Supreme Leader a little bit of advice: 1. Fire yourself 2. Fire yourself 3. Fire your DC 4. Fire yourself 5. Fire your HC 6. Start all over again! I can't put it any simpler than that. Mr. Jones, we fans have a lot invested in the Dallas Cowboys and we are tired of getting our hearts broken by this crap you put together. IT'S TIME to step down or you'll be having lots and lots of your fans turning their backs on this franchise. I'M PISSED!!!!

America's Team is no more (hasn't been for a very long time and will NEVER be again). They are laughing stock of the National Football League. At least they keep all the sport commentators putting in their two cents worth. It would be nice if Mr Cowboy/Supreme Leader himself would listen..oops I forgot he's too good to listen to anyone. Put your ears on and listen to what the whole world is saying about the former America's Team and current laughing stock of the whole NFL

I hate to agree with you but most of what you wrote is true. Hope Steven Jones learns a thing or two from dear leader and gives up the reigns as soon is he takes the torch from his father. Seriously this past decade and 1/2 has been a roller coaster ride and we must demand change.

Nothing will change as long as fans keep filling the Death Star and buying merchandise as soon as it hits the shelves.

Jerry is a business man. As long as he's making money hand over fist, it proves to him that he's right.

Unbiased you're right however I have seen less and less people wear cowboy gear so seems some fans are buying less cowboys stuff. Perhaps the fans are beginning to revolt and it will eventually get noticed. So let keep up the pressure!

I quit wearing my gear and have been turning off the games when they start stinking up the joint. Think Jerry has noticed yet?

At the end of the Landry Era, I was driving up to Texoma to watch the games during the blackouts.

You'd think I would have learned.
