Ya know, I was watching Youtube tonight trying to get my fix for NCAA football. I watch all the highlight videos from my team's last season. I then came across a video entitled, "why UGA football sucks." It was made by some Florida fan. I actually think the UGA team should watch it to pump themselves up; I also saw a shot at why Florida sucks, but that was a bit misguided b/c it's hard to make one about a team that recently won the title game. Anyways, I decided to look up other "sucks" videos for other teams. I saw a lot of video blogs of why tOSU and/or Mich sucks coming from each other's fans. Saw one "Utah state football sucks." Didn't know that people in smaller schools have bitter rivalries cause I never hear about them. I also saw another Bama sucks video, but it was only 1:22 and wasn't a montage. One OU sucks video, and another USC sucks video from a Clemson person. There were also numerous videos of USC (Carolina) beating UGA; to be fair though, I saw a bunch of UGA over UF videos too. I also came across a whole bunch of feet sucking videos too; to each his own I suppose.
Seeing the "Why UGA football sucks" and "why uga football still sucks" and an inordinately mean "OSU, Don't Cry Out Loud - A Florida Gators BCS Tribute" gave me an idea (I didn't watch the "Why UGA basketball sucks" video b/c I just don't care that much. I'm a typical football school fan.) UGA and tOSU fans should not be bickering. The same goes for UM fans and UGA fans. 'Why?' you may ask. We should all unite under our common hate of Florida. Knowing that we all share a common enemy should be grounds to consider each other friends instead of enemies. We just generalize Big 10 vs. SEC too much. Let's just all be friends. [There's no common enemy for SEC and Pac 10 teams, so keep on with that negativity. The Big 10 just gets a bad rap at the hands of the SEC in the title game.]

Report Offensive CommentOn one hand, I find it hard to care less about Florida. Guess I just don't have it in me to hate any team except my school's rival - TSUN
On the other hand, I have to admit I did get a great pleasure seeing the looks on the faces of the Florida fans after TSUN turned the ball over half a dozen or so times and still won the upset - looking like the faster team with the more explosive offense - on a late game winning drive no less...
...so if I got a sick enjoyment seeing my rival embarass the fans of another team in an upset, I guess I am with you on this.

Report Offensive CommentBig Ten does suck. The SEC has two straight NCs from two different teams. When was the last time the Big Ten won two straight Rose Bowls? Just because the Big Ten fans (just UM and OSU mommas' boys) don't want to hear how badly their conference is decaying and how thin their rosters and conference is doesn't mean it is not true.
They don;t get it because they don't have it.

We all can see Big Ten games because almost all of the big ones are on ABC or ESPN in the afternoon The only chance they get to see the top SEC teams is either on some Saturday nights, an interconference week 1 game or on New Year's day.

Report Offensive CommentI hear ya HBE but the spew by Deep South Sider is the typical SEC crap I???m sick of. How can a GT, Georgia or any other SEC fan take credit for a Florida or LSU championship? That???s the difference between SEC and other conferences. You didn't hear Indiana in 2002 saying "We beat you good Miami", Oregon State in 2004 saying "We killed the Big 12" or Baylor saying "We sure took care of the PAC 10".
I have absolutely no respect for those that criticize OSU or OU for loosing back to back championships when their own team hasn't even been to the Big Game in ages. That's why I can at least put up with a Gator Boast. QUIT STANDING BEHIND THE CONFERENCE FLAG AND DO IT ON YOUR OWN! (For Deep South Sider and others like him)

I don't know if you saw my profile, but I show some crazy looking Gator fans, and UGA students love to rip on Gator fans wearing jean shorts for some reason, so I displayed that also. Sadly to say though, for each crazy looking Gator fan there's one bulldog fan that's just as haggard looking. I grew up in a suburban area, so I didn't experience the real south, but I'm here now and the South really is a place of its own.
