Sunday night our Dallas Cowboys just barely did enough to beat the Washington Redskins (Dallas: 24-Washington: 23). In the beginning of the second half, the NFL sent out an A.P.B. looking for the Defense because minutes into the second half the Defense simply disappeared without a trace. However, in the final minutes of the 4th quarter they mysteriously re-appeared and managed to stop two Redskins offensive drives which was the key to our winning the game. Romo came through for us in a huge way, yea Romo was clutch, I bet every Romo fan (which I still happen to be one) was sweating it big time during the final minutes as he and this enigma offensive line drove through for two scores. It wasn't easy but somehow they stuck to their guns and snatched that victory from the jaws of defeat. Honestly I didn't think our Boys had enough in their tank to win this game. Last week they appeared to be battered, defeated, and disorganized. They also had other distractions, finger pointing, and with players being thrown under the bus by the head coach it was a disaster waiting to continue. But somehow, someway, they put that aside and came in and took care of business. Now, I know the Redskins have a losing record but it's always tougher to play divisional rivals than to play against teams outside the division. So here comes the high flying Philadelphia Eagles, yea the same Eagles that beat down the same Chicago Bears that two weeks ago kicked our ****. This game is hugely important to both teams not only because it's for the NFC Division Title but also gives the winner a playoff berth. Although Romo is hurt and will get an MRI today to see how significant his back injury is, he will have to play. TONY ROMO will have to play great, he will have to carry this team to victory or else. It's that simple, this will be his third straight year where the winner takes all and the loser goes home. This game will make or break his professional career and his historical standing as an NFL quarterback. In actuality, both teams are very similar, both have good quarterbacks, both defenses suck, both have good running backs and both special teams are okay. I'm guessing that the difference makers in that game will probably be standing on the sidelines...yea the coaches. God help us! Its pucker time. What say you?
