Mike Zagurski is my new hero . Comes up from AA and throws 10 pitches in the 8th, no hits, no walks just a quick 1-2-3 inning and if that wasn't enough Yoel Hernandez does the same thing in the 9th on 9 pitches.
This is epic. Two Philly releif pitchers throw a total of 19 pitches in two innings, not the usual one inning and get 6 up, 6 down. Nice easy ending to a victory. Speechless.
Chris Coste it appears asked to be sent to Reading so he could catch everyday. He thinks that is his quickest path back to the bigs.
Lets hope we can win ann get over 500

Barajas should have been the guy packing his bags. The team screwed Coste.
The kid was good in his debut, but I've watched Phillies baseball too long. Let's not annoint him for a while.

I agree that this was his debut but it was very enjoyable for me to watch the 8th and 9th and see the relievers go 1-2-3-4-5-6 with a minimum amount of pitches, no excitement. On the plus side Zagurski has been excellent at every stop and for me for the first time in a long time there is some ray of light in the bullpen.
