Pryor drops back to pass, and places the ball perfectly to Streater - TD RRRRRRaiders!!!! A few minutes later, after leading another march down the field, he finds Nick Kasa in the end zone. Thus, sealing a 14-3 second half victory for the Silver & Black over Brock Osweiler's Denver Donkeys.

Oh, We lost the 1st half 0-31.

No doubt, John Fox decided not to get his former assistant Dennis Allen fired - or at least give him something of a case not to be. We shall wait and see what the new Mr. Davis decides...

So now 2013 is officially over. Pryor led the offense to historically inept proportions for 3 quarters, then showed just enough in the final 6 minutes 36 seconds to make everyone question every pre-conceived notion about him. Those 6:36 were more exciting than McGloin has been over the last 4 weeks. Such is the tantalizingly temptation that is the future of Terrelle Pryor. It's safe to say yesterday's game answered no questions as to who will lead the Raiders at QB in 2014. McGloin is a career backup, at best, and Pryor is.... Pryor.

Silver (& Black) linings? Sio Moore, Mychal Rivera, and Stacy McGee look like they were solid draft picks from last year. Brice Butler was good early but faded late. Tyler Wilson was a colossal bust. Hayden and Watson were hurt too much to tell. RM will need to do a better job in evaluation this year. Raiders will have all their picks this next year, including the 5th overall. RM needs to hit a home run with every single one.

I hope Janikowski and King spend the entire offseason together practicing field goals. I hope Wisniewski spends his free time making a good snap in the pistol formation.

A lot of one year deals are now expiring. Once again, next year we are going to have a lot of new faces. Goodbye Darren McFadden. But...

Raiders have $60+ million in cap space this offseason. Stay tuned...

I had to chuckle at the blog opening. Definitely a tale of two halfs.

I don't know about you, but I'm frightened. Having all that money and a nearly full slate of draft picks with dudes that haven't shown they can evaluate players scares the hell out of me. This cap friendly situation will never happen like this again. I hope to hell they don't muck it up.

Did you hear the rumblings on Houston? Sounds like he thinks he's gone - unless he's just leveraging for more money...

As good as he was this year, he was a bit of letdown, especially in a contract year. Maybe he really doesn't think he's a good fit for the scheme?

Anyways, as I post this it's less than 5 minutes from Dennis Allen's 1pm presser - so at least looks like DA has survived today.

Let us not forget last year - a certain team spent big bucks in free agency, even stealing one of our Raiders with a fat long term deal. They had $49 million in cap space.

That team was the Cleveland Browns.

Shore up both lines in the draft, get QB insurance [[[(((( stay the f away from Cutler)))]]]!!!!!

Maybe trade a 3rd or 4th round pick for Cousins.

Eh. Cousins showed nothing in his 3 games. Certainly no pick that high.

And they won't be signing Cutler. Pretty sure of that.

No, but once the salary cap casualties start falling, maybe then see what vets fall through the cracks. But we need to find something better at that position, no matter what.

It appears he has survived. Although not everything happens on Black Monday...

I would think RM would be conservative with all the money considering his background with the Packers. But there are so many needs on this team, it will be hard NOT to spend a ton.

The sad part about this comment is that the draft was chock full of quality O & D line last year. Hindsight...

We started the season a respectable 4-6......

And then lost the last 6 games in a row.

December 30, 2013  07:49 PM ET

That sums up the Oakland Raiders 2013 season perfectly.

I want to keep him if we can.

So does DA, from the sound of his comments yesterday.

There are good ones this year too. We just can't be using our 1st round choice on a player with serious medical concerns, or our 2nd round pick on a OL who is essentially playing his 3rd year of organized football or our 4th pick on an overrated SEC QB who won't be able to pick up the playbook.
In other words, RM and the scouting staff better pick up their game.

He could start by shopping that first pick to some QB hungry team, get numerous picks or even an established player to help fill the roster.

or

He could do what Al did, draft a Marc Wilson or Todd Marijuanavich or a JaWalrus.

Painful to read. Just painful. Sure hope better things are to come.

After watching the some of the top QBs available in the draft in these bowl games, I'd prefer we trade out of the 5 spot if we can. I don't see any of those guys being the answer.
