What can I say about baseball except it's kind of boring until the post-season. With this in mind, I enjoy watching the Yankees tearing it up in playoffs, but with their recent lack of anything close to pitching, they won't be there. Why don't they go after moe young pitchers in the off-season. It makes no sense. From what I understand of the game, pitching is more important then hitting, and with the display of talent on the offensive side and lack of real production on the defensive, the Yankees could find themselves watching the TV in the post-season. The only exception right now is when we play the Red Sox, but there just as horrible. Lets hope to see Big Poppa in the pin-stripes , though it really won't help their dilemna. Pitching, pitching, pitching. The old guys just ain't getting it done, trade some of those defensive stars for some solid young pitching talent. But that's easier said then done.
