Well, arbitrator, Fredric Horowitz handed down his decision on Alex Rodriguez's appeal for his 211 game suspension for taking performace enhancing drugs today. CNN reported the news at 2:30 p.m. Eastern. Horowitz reduced the suspension to 162 games. This means Rodriguez is going to miss the entire 2014 season if this decision stands. Of course, A-Rod doesn't agree with the decision and said he's going to take his case to the U. S. Federal courts. Rodriguez is adament that he did not take PEDs during his career. I think this situationis going to get ugly folks. In other baseball news, Greg Maddux, Tom Glavin, and Frank Thomas were all named to baseball's Hall Of Fame. All three players are deserving of this honor. Congratulations guys!
