Today marks the 26th anniversary of the day when the world's largest dirtbag, Bill Bidwill, announced that he was moving the football Cardinals out of St. Louis and relocating them to Phoenix.   Leaving a trail of slime wherever he went, as always,  Bidwill left St. Louis blaming the city and it's fans for his failure.  The blame for said failure obviously belonged with Bidwill's complete and total incompetence and lack of football knowledge.  One could fill volumes with all the idiocy perpetrated by Bidwill during his reign of incompetence as Cardinal owner.

This is my sixth annual  blog on this website commemorating the event, and reminding the world what a low-class sleazeball Bidwill was then and still is today.

I'm again observing a moment of silence for my beloved Cardinals, who will always be St. Louis to me.

You still suck, Bill.   You always will.

I liked those cool Don Coryell teams: Hart, Metcalf, Gray, Dierdorf, Wehrli and Jim Otis who beat out my favorite back in Chuck Foreman (rested the finale) for '75 (?) rush title, denying Chuck the triple crown. I suppose Arizona loves 'em too, now, but if it makes you feel any better, I still accidently refer to the Cards as 'St. Louis,' from time to time.

Those were the best Cardinal teams ever. Of all of Bidwill's many, many mistakes, probably the worst was running Coryell out of town.
