Now that Peyton Manning will be playing in his third Super Bowl he has to put his self among the absolute Greatest of all-time, not that he already wasn't. If he doesn't win will he still have his place at the top if he doesn't win 2 out of 3?

If he ends up 1-2 he'll be tied with Kurt Warner, who also happened to reach the Super Bowl with two different teams.

If he ends up 2-1 he'll be tied with Bob Griese and Ben Roethlisberger.

No QB has ever won the Super Bowl with two different teams. If Peyton can pull that off it'll make for some interesting GOAT arguments.

He's already the second best QB of all time, and even if he wins this super bowl, he'll still be the second best ever.
Joe Montana (4-0) in super bowls will remain as the best ever.

Montana may well be the best of all time, but Peyton is the greatest architect of the game. He plays at a level that no else has. He has redefined the QB position, and set the standard for future QBs.
