And the playoff push continues for the Capitals...
7 games left, ALL in the Southeast Division. These next 4 on the road, and then wrap it up @ the Verizon Center for the other 3 games. The schedule as follows:
3/21 @Atlanta
3/25 @Carolina
3/27 @Tampa Bay
3/29 @ Florida
4/1 Carolina
4/3 Tampa Bay
4/5 Florida
Do I have to say, the Caps need to run the table in order to make the playoffs??
Meanwhile, we have Alex Ovechkin sitting @ 58 goals entering tonight. The question isn't does he get 60 goals, but rather when will he get #60?? It's anybody's guess, really.
Man, something's gotta give. I can't keep this up, you know. Either make the playoffs, or by God, die trying. I need to know whether to browbeat my brother into taking me to a playoff game, or not. (While I'm at it, I need to know whether we're going to Hershey tomorrow night. Circumstances beyond my control, may make it a moot point. It has to deal with family issues, is all I'll say.)

Here goes: 5-3, Caps. Alex got 2 goals (that's 60!!!), Nick Backstrom got a pair, and an empty netter to close it out.
Buffalo lost, so we get to vault over them for 9th...but dammit, the Flyers won (so we're STILL 2 points out of the last slot).
