11:40 PM ET 03.21 | I'm not gonna lie..it sure is a bit depressing for the Gators to not have made the NCAA Tournament after winning Back-to-Back National Championships, but the NIT Tournament has been better than I thought. It sure has been fun to be able to go to the games at the O'Dome and to see the Gators finally find some energy. The Gators have yet to trail in the tournament...now thats what I like to see, this is what weve needed the past couple months! Oh yea and congrats to Nick Calathes (11pts, 13rebs, 11assts, and 5 steals) tonight...he just got the 2nd Triple-Double in Florida Gator basketball history, the other being Corey Brewer and he also became the first Florida Gator player to get at least 200 assists in a single season! I'm hoping they can continue this momentum and roll on through the rest of the NIT! It sure would be good for them to win the NIT. On another note...spring football has begun and I sure am getting excited for football season to start!! Can't wait for the Orange & Blue game at the Swamp! Go Gators!!
