As a strategist, media member, consultant, former collegiate player and preacher; I am prayerful I may offer some unique and truthful perspectives.
As a strategist, I can write that Denver is the highest power-ranked team. As I wrote a couple of articles back; there have been a couple of alterations at the top. As it stands, the top three teams are Denver, New England, and Seattle.
In addition, while Seattle has a top-ranked defense by most peoples standards; Denver's top-ranked offense is relatively better because they played a tougher schedule. As I noted, the worst divisions in football were the NFC East and Central and the AFC North.
However, as I selected at the season's start; I predict Seattle will win because of 4 reasons: #4. Improvised runs by Russell Wilson #3. More aggressive strategy decisions by Coach Carroll #2. Turnovers and #1. Seattle's Christian faith.
POWERSPREAD: The listed number is Seattle +2.5; however, NFL-ESP has not fully studied this game for the most accurate POWERSPREAD. However, in relation to making STRATEGY DECISIONS more relative to data like this number and TOTAL YARDAGE, TURNOVERS, OPPOSITION DECISIONS and any BIASED OFFICIATING ADVANTAGE (as noted, last week, Seattle got two hugely beneficial HOME CALLS); Coach Carroll, as he did last week on a crucial 4th-and-long, is more likely to make accurate and AGGRESSIVE GAME MANAGEMENT DECISIONS. This may be extremely necessary since Seattle was an amazing NFL-ESP +99 pts. in TURNOVERS (Denver was +7pts.) this season, and this disparity and the potential for a larger-than-average TURNOVER RATIO may decide this game.
QUARTERBACK: From my perspective, Peyton Manning is the best passer to ever play the game; but again, the most volatile QB play and defensively least-effective defended play is the QB extended play or QB designed or improvised runs; in this game; surely this advantage goes to Seattle. And at some point in NFL history; a "running" QB-led team will eventually and evolutionarily unseat a "pocket" QB-led team.
MEDIA: I listen to most of the media and their often incorrect perspectives; so as an affirmation of my often correct assessments; I try to oppose them. The most erroneous thoughts come from Merrill Hoge, Ron Jaworski, Michael Smith, Herm Edwards, Mark Schlereth, and the most imperceptive of all; Rusillo, Rob Riggles and Stephen Smith.
Contrarily, the most insightful analysts are Mr. Bill Polian and Colin Cowherd.
In fact, once I heard the public and all media worry about inclement weather; I knew and believe the weather will not be that bad.
WEATHER: As some know, high winds favor the DEFENSE and running game; it also favors the more AGGRESSIVE teams since Field Goals are less probable. Contrarily, snow, or off-footing, favors the OFFENSE. In this game and stadium, where weather can be a factor; Seattle benefits from the wind and Denver from snow.
