That's right, the NIT is the forgotten brackets that everyone has NOT been talking about. While it's true as some say the NIT is the losers bracket, there are some good teams playing. If you're spending all your time with the major tourney, you're missing some good games. I suppose there is a good reason for the NIT, because we know know the NCAA doesn't have tournments if there's no money in it for them. The field for the NIT is smaller, only 32 teams, but if any one is interested her are the results thur far:
Round 1 Winners:
No. 2 UMASS No. 3 Dayton
No.1 Ohio St No. 1 Virginia Tech
No. 1 Syracuse No. 5 Ala-Birmingham
No. 4 S. Illinois No. 2 Old Miss
No. 6 Arkon No. 2 Florida
No. 5 Maryland No. 3 Nebraska
No. 3 Creighton No.2 Illinois St
No. 1 Arizona St No. 4 California
Round 2 Winners (thurs far)
No. 1 Syracuse
No. 1 Arizona St
No. 2 Florida
No. UMASS
Round 2 (con't Monday)
1 Ohio St Vs 4 Cal
3 Dayton vs 2 Illinois St
1 Virginia Tech vs 5 Ala-birmingham
3 Nebraska vs 2 Ole Miss
Will update again after Monday's game. Enjoy. and give the NIT some love.

Thanks for the update. I somewhat lost track of the NIT and I've only watched the one game so far (SIU vs. ASU).
