First off the definition of everlasting is lasting forever or eternal and the Yankees have had many bad years to go along with there 26 championships. In 1902,1905,1908,1912,1913,1915,1917,1918,1925,1965,1966,1967,1981,1982,1989,1990,1991, and 1992 they failed to have a winning percentage over .500. So there dynasty cant be everlasting since they failed to win half of there games 17 times.Plus in the 90's when they won three championships they finished less then .500 three times so it may have been great but not great enough to make it "everlasting" The Yankees also have won there division 16 times but they have finished third or worse in 1968,1969, 1971,1972,1973,1975,1979,1981,1982,1983,1984,1987,1988,1989,1990,1991 and 1992. Therefor they have finished third or worse more than they won there division. The Yankees also have had 42 different managers. That averages out to be a different manager ever two and a half years so if they were an "everlasting dynasty" they wouldnt be firing there manager about every three years. In the end the Yankees are a dynasty but not an "everlasting" dynasty

obviously the Yankees are the best dynasty ever who else has won 27 championships.
