Well, two games against the Warriors and my ulcer is in full bloom now. The Lakers just don't seem to be capable of playing smart basketball, and the Warriors took full advantage of that. I mean in the first game the Lakers continued their habit of giving up 3 pointers when that's the only thing that could beat them when Stephen Jackson killed them, and they nearly did it again the second game. I was going to make up a Lakers drinking game where you take a shot every time the Lakers give up an open 3 pointer when they lead by 3 with under a minute to play. However, that would result in full-blown alcoholism so I abandoned it. Really, how many times have the Lakers blown a game when they are up by 3 and give up a 3 pointer? Twice to Golden State, once to Detroit, once to Cleveland come to mind, and that's not counting the near-misses with Dallas and Golden State last night. I know the perimeter defense is going to be average to poor with Fisher out there, he's just not quick enough, but can't they stay with their man and not cheat down into the lane to give up those open 3 pointers?
