Well I'm back and am going to bring you some of the music I have discovered (not really) while on hiatus.
We all know Gnarls Barkley has to be one of the worst bands ever created (or at least worst live band), so how do you make them better? Let a theremin sing it. More on the theremin... This has to be one of the coolest videos I've seen in forever.
Basically what I'm trying to do on FanNation...bad joke. Anyway, this has become one of my favorite songs in the last week. What can I say, it's addicting. The album, The Body, The Blood, The Machine, has some interesting religious undertones, but suck it up and deal with them. They're also funny looking.
Pavement was supposed to be the next Nirvana. They don't look like it or sound like it, but they were supposed to be the next big thing, but sadly they didn't pan out. Still, this song is fantastic and addicting. And it's about haircuts.
Wilco is also fast becoming one of my favorite bands with their laid back melodies and Nels Cline's insane guitar solos. So watch this video.
One of the most addictive jam bands out there. But it's a photo montage...so whatever. Great song.
fIREHOSE was an early 90s band that included the Minutemen's Mike Watt that never really made it big. But they left of this song and video.
The band is good, the song is good, the video is ehhh. As someone in the comments said, "It's like a crappy Roman teen dream." This is more for your listening pleasure than viewing pleasure.
And I have two bonuses for you:
Bonus #1 (this is for all you hip-hop fans out there. I think this has to be one of the worst/hilarious songs ever.)
Bonus #2 (this one is just weird/funny.)
