                                          EDUBB9197'S Top College Slash.

(I based my findings on players who play multiple positions)

1. DeSean Jackson, Junior, California - The Devin Hester of college football scored 4 td's on punt-returns last year, along with 455 yards and a sick 17.5 average. He racked up nearly 1,100 yards receiving and 9 more scores. He is recognized as one of the most explosive players in the game. He will help guide Cal to a top 3 finish in the Pac-10 and a good bowl game. He has no realistic shot for the Heisman. He is a top 20 prospect in next years draft.

2. Percy Harvin, Sophmore, Florida - The most hyped player in college football gets his due here. Harvin doesn't really have a set position. He played well as a true fresh. last year, but showed signs of greatness. He is the major threat of the Florida offense, and look for him to get 2,000 all purpose yards and 10-15 touchdowns. Florida lost alot, but Harvin can definitely take pressure off of Tebow to contend for the SEC title, and a possible BCS bowl. Harvin is a dark-horse Heisman canidate. He will be a top 10 pick when he decides to come out.

3. Damon Nickson, Senior, Middle Tennesse State - The saftey started all 13 games and enjoyed a career-best season for the Blue Raiders. Had 61 tackles on the season to go along with three tackles for loss, a sack, five interceptions, two pass breakups, and a forced fumble. As a kickoff returner, Nickson had 21 returns for 605 yards, two touchdowns, and a 28.8 per return average to rank fifth nationally. Ask Louisville how good of a returner he is. Also a stud on defense. He is a first day talent in the draft.

4. Rafael Little, Senior, Kentucky - The Wildcats top tailback and reliable pass-catcher returns for his senior year. A shifty speedster when he has the ball in his hands. He had 1,382 all purpose yards, with 317 of those coming from punt returns with a ridiculous average 22.6 and a td. Had 6 td's on offense. Kentucky doesn't run enough for him to make a name for himself, but he will be a threat on offense rushing and receiving while helping Kentucky fight for another bowl game, and finishing high in the SEC. Little has a chance in the NFL because of his speed and return abilities.

5. Marcus Thigpen, Junior, Indiana - The true Slash on this list. He gained over 1,200 hundred all purpose yards, with 700 of those coming from kick returns (3tds). He scored 7 touchdowns last year for a traditionally bad Indiana team. He lines up at wr and rb and is one of their only weapons. He has the ability (speed) to make it in the NFL.

As a Southern Cal fan, DeSean Jackson keeps me up at night. That's a great comparison too - Devin Hester.

A guy I really like is Tristan Davis from Auburn. He's a runningback, safety, kick returner, and gets some time at quarterback on options. He's a heck of an athlete.
