The San Francisco Giants made their breakup with Barry Bonds official by removing all images of the Home Run King from the stadium he helped to build. Like a 16 year old girl tearing pictures of herself and her boyfriend in half after he deflowered her and participated in her passage to womanhood, all tributes to Barry Bonds have been erased from the annals of AT &T Park as if Barry never donned the orange and black. Although Barry has been clouded in scandal for years, the Giants stayed behind him long enough for them to get increased attendance during his chase of Aaron, but then they turn around and erase his memory 8 months later. That's a huge disrespect to Bonds, even if he did use drugs. Where would the Giants have been on the national radar for 15 years if it wasn't for Bonds? They'd be the Rangers only with a cooler city to call home. Business as usual in baseball. Thanks for the memories Barry, although I guess you never played for the Giants according to the images I now see at AT&T.

Goes to show you that SF thinks along the lines of "what have you done for me lately?"

You talking about Shawn Green? That's hilarious. The Reds did the same thing when the waived Glenn Braggs
