Yep, that's right, Chris Webber, the former all-star center is retiring! After coming into the NBA nearly 2 decades ago as one of Michigan's Fab Five, Webber is finally retiring. His exit from the NBA was much quieter than his entry as he declared retirement yesterday after hurting his knee. Webber announced his retirement after 15 NBA seasons on Wednesday, cutting short his comeback attempt with the Warriors and his rapprochement with coach Don Nelson. Webber had only played 9 games with the Warriors this season before being sidelined with an injured knee. He had started his career with the Warriors but was traded after only one season due to a feud with the coach, Don Nelson. Webber was a five-time All-Star, who ended his career averaging 20.7 points, 9.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists a game. Chris Webber was a great NBA player and I congragulate him on having an excellent career!
