     The new york giants win the superbowl and beat the mighty patriot offense. While they were doing this of course other teams were watching this and they were shocked by how much pressure they were getting and said "Hay i could do that". No you cant if you want to win a superbowl. I know what your thinking yes they can did you see how many sacks they had, well that may be but immitations arent great there copy cats trying to do something new its not there fault there following a trend of teams having success with something and another team doing it and trying to pass it off as original. The New England Patriots were copy cats they copied the Rams and it got them the same thing losing to a huge under dog that had a better defense and had an efficient QB who could win in the final minutes. Now all of the lower teams in the NFl are buying any DE that they could get there hands on because its a fad thats all it is and next season a different team will figure out something and it will be copied over and over again until something else comes along that is just the NFL teams will always try to copy but only the teams who come up with new things can win. the 49ers were the original west coast offense and have won 5 superbowls because it was original and no one was prepared for it that is how you win. The denver broncos can plug any RB into there system and turn him into a star because of there scheme that is authentic and produced terrel davis,clinton portis,and even tatum bell averaged near 5 yards a carry. And on defense the Chicago Bears of 1988 has never been duplicated but many have tried. So in conclusion there is no such thing as a succesful copycat.
