Scouting Report

The Dodgers are an interesting team they could have made the play offs but Little had little you know what so he didnt play the young studs that he had like james loney and instead played nearly retired veterans like Nomar instead. Then about midway through the season Little hit puberty and decided to play the young guys more and they started winning and took the division lead and looked ready to take control. But Gradys incompetence caught up the team started fighting the veterans not liking the young guys taking their playing time away started fighting with the young guys and Little did nothing until it had already become malignant and then they just tanked the rest of the way and missed the playoffs. So Litlle got canned thank god I felt bad for the dodgers and im an Angel fan. So the Dodgers got lucky because Joe torie left New york and came to the Dodgers and so I see the dodgers rebounding from there late season collapse to tie for the division lead only because it is a great division,

The Rockies are an interesting team because we still dont know if there world series apperance was a fluke or if it was just a good team doing what good teams do. One thing that bothers me is that Kaz Matsui left and he was there most important player because he scored a ton of runs for them and saved many with his glove. Matt Holliday will continue to improve and so will Jeff Francis there lesser known phenom. so this team will thrive in the harsh enviorment of the NL west.

The Diamondbacks will be a threatining team and will definintly compete. They are the youngest most talented team in the league. With an out standing starting pitching witch is anchored by Brandon webb and newly acquired Dan Haren. and in the bullpen Jose Valverde will ave 40 games. They will compete but will come up short because of the competition in the division.

The Padres are definite contenders. With Jake Peavy and Chris Young in there rotation they will baffle hitters. But there hitting sucks signing Jim Edmonds was a waste of money and the only two people that have good power Green ad Gonzalez have no one who can get on base and no one to protect them from intentional walks. End up in fourth place with no hitting.

The Giants have one thing going for them they have great youg pitchers. The rest of the team look like some one took a turd on the roster.

Fantasy sleepers and Flops

Dodgers

Sleeper- James Loney, He has 20 homer power but is great at putting the ball into play which usually means plenty of RBIs

Flop- Juan Pierre, he will lose alot of playing time because he doesnt have much power and isnt the best fielder

Rockies

Sleeper-Todd Helton, I know hes well known but his bat has been in decline but excpect that to change he will once again strike fear in pitchers

Flop- Yorvit Torealba, Overall not a great hitter but with 2 out with runners in scoring position he hit an anemic .151

Arizona

Sleeper- Justin Uptin, Great power and speed and hit .330 with 2 out with risp wich means he could become a great RBI man for years t come

Flop- Chris Young, This is a little risky but he showed many flaws last year he strikes out too much and doesnt hit for a very good average

Padres

Sleeper- kahlil greene, he is a great person and I am going to play the karma card.

Flop- Milton Bradley, I am going to play the karma card

San Francisco

Sleeper- Barry Zitto, Cy young caliber coming off bad year

Flop- everyone but the starting pitchers
