Derek Lowe will start for the Los Angeles Dodgers tonight against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The hurler has struggled during Spring Training thus far, posting a horrific 5.68 Earned-Run Average. Hopefully, he will shine during his final start before the Regular Season.
Since the game starts at 10.05 PM (EST) I will be unable to write a Recap tonight. However, I will be sure to fill you in on the latest news tomorrow. Go Dodgers!
Batting Practice:
Los Angeles recently released Rudy Seanez. The 39-year old relief pitcher suffered from a strained groin muscle and recorded an Earned-Run Average of 7.71 during Spring Training. Unfortunately, the 16-year veteran would have only hurt the Dodgers' bullpen during the Regular Season if he continued to be impacted by his injury.

I think the game depends on whether or not Derek Lowe can contain Vladimir Guerrero and Torii Hunter, and induce groundballs.

The last time Derek Lowe shined it was with a female reporter.
