In the Davidson Wildcats basketball preview for the 2007-2008 season, writer Joel Welser stated that Davidson "is a team that should dominate the conference and head into the NCAA Tournament with a decent seed. After that, it falls on the senior leadership at the point and the hot hand of Curry for the Wildcats do some damage in March." Wow, did this guy hit the nail on the head or what? After running through the Southern Conference undefeated the Wildcats have decided not to slow down in the 2008 NCAA Tournament as they have now defeated #7 Gonzaga, #2 Georgetown and now #3 Wisconsin en route to a Elite 8 berth. The Wildcats and Badger were tied tonight 36-36 at the half before a second half explosion. There's no doubt that Davidson Wildcats merchandise & hats will be flying off the shelves after the Wildcats topped Wisconsin tonight 73-56.
Next up for the Davidson Wildcats and start shooing guard Stephen Curry will be the winner of #1 Kansas vs. #12 Villanova which will tip off in the next few minutes in Detroit @ Ford Field.

Thanks for the update, I missed the last part of the game. You just never know which team will step up.
