All #1 seeds made the Final Four in San Antonio, but I am not writing to talk about the fantastic winners; UCLA , North Carolina, Memphis, and Kansas. I am here to talk about the losers of the final Elite Eight game in Detroit, Davidson. They were the tourneys Cindarellas, led by the red hot Stephen Curry, who for two weeks was in the "zone" us basketball players talk about. Davidson is a small school in North Carolina, the team is made up of mostly people who weren't heavily recruited by the ACC teams. they have a fantastic supporting cast around a diamond in the rough that is Stephen Curry. Curry, son of former NBA player Del Curry is a 6,3'' shooting guards who was one of the top scorers in the nation heading into the tourney. Davidson had a 22 game win streak going into Selection Sunday where they drew Gonzaga. That is when the magic started. Curry averaged 20 points in the second half of his first three games a win over Gonzaga where he scored 40 points in the whole game, and upsets over Georgetown and Wisconson where he scored over 20 in the second half. He had a scoring average of 33 heading into the Regional Final against perrenial power Kansas, which were coached by Bill Self, who in four Elite Eight appearances has never reached the Final Four. Curry looked good at the start scoring double digits in the first half after missing his first five shots. He looked as if he was going to repeat his second half performances as he was putting on a clinic to start the second half. then, Kansas changed their defensive scheme and Curry couldn't seem to make the shots, although they were shots no mere college player could make, he was trying to make the game, not letting it come to him. But the shots wouldn't fall as Davidson went down by 7, then a player from Maine started to look like his sweet shooting teammate. The White Lobster brought his team back to the top and gave them a 5 point lead. But the Wicked Godsisters led by Brandon Rush came back, they tied the game up and put them to the top for good as Curry couldn't find his shot until it was too late.

I know the clock has to strike midnight, but why does it have to strike like this?
