Down two with under 16 seconds remaining, the Davidson Wildcats had the ball in the hands of their star, Stephen Curry. But the Kansas Jayhawks' defense would let Curry get a good look at the backet as he was forced to pass the ball before a potential game-winner sailed to the left as Kansas held on for the win. Bill Self had guided his teams to four previous Elite 8 appearances without a single Final Four berth and shed the money from his back with the win as Kansas will now face Northe Carolina on Saturday, April 5th. As a result of this win, for the first time since the NCAA Tournament went to the current format in 1979, all four #1 seeds have advanced to the Final Four in the same season.
