Here is the running commentary ncshydavid and I have done.

David: Welcome to the First Contraction Draft- I am your host, A Host Named NcShvDavid- and with me as Always Joe (Mountain) Dew

Joe: lets go over the Rules- The NBA has cut back to 16 teams the otehr 14 teams have lost all players- then going by  record- all teams get a pick then must drop a player to stay at 15 players total- no matter the Cap

Joe: Thats right- no cap, just play- a team can drop out at any time- but once a player is released  he hits the pool - the fun part will come say in round 7or 8 when the Spurs are looking at say keeping  Bruce Bowen or picking up a player like Jermaine O'Neal

David: I don’t know if O’Neal lasts that long but you get the Picture- I think looking at the Draft- Miami is on the clock and I really don’t see much of a choice here- either Howard or James- I don’t see anyone else even CLOSE

Joe:  I would definitely recommend taking Howard first and not just because of the Superman cape (chuckles to David). All championship teams are built around a big man except for the Bulls and MJ. The number two pick should be interesting because it starts to get more open.

David: If Howard is First- who other than Lebron is next? PLease tell me you aint thinking Duncan or Bosh right now.

Joe: No I am thinking Lebron James or Kobe Bryant. They are both MVP worthy players this season. You know David, Lebron has that Multiple Personality commercial called "The Lebrons" and maybe just maybe some crazy thinks they can actually have a few of LBJ.

David: Well The LAkers are taken - so Lebron is not eligible.

<!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]--> <!--[endif]-->

The Third Pick is in- and Bosh goes to Seattle - you gotta think he’s happy going to that warm weather place. And that tells you the drop from 2-3 in this draft.

David: Bosh is Next off the board- I mean numbers wise he is that good- but I tell you I don;t know if he was the best value here at 3 - I mean he's got the numbers - but I mean he's not going to a team much better than the one he left.

Joe: Maybe Chris Bosh could make another Youtube video like the All Star one he did to get fans to keep the Sonics in Seattle. I dont think Bosh is a franchise man myself, hopefully they can get some talent around him.

Joe: Carmelo Anthony was a good pick by dyhard but I still thought there would be a couple other players that would get picked up before him.

David: I do like the Melo Pick- I mean I think there are better players out there- but he's a solid guy - and the Bucks need a backcourt guy. Redd is able to move around some- and this is a great pick for him- I mean Dirk might have been better there but can;t fault him- plus he's young as well.

Joe: You can read the future I believe David because the next pick belongs to the Sacramento Kings and they select Dirk Nowitizki. Great addition to a team in need of a proven veteran. They need some balance to go with Ron Artest. Dirk will bring a scoring balance to the Kings.

Joe: Now Chicago is on the Board any ideas on what they need to become a contender again? There is a lot of history and seeing the Jordan #23 in the rafters could be a motivation or a distraction. Who is the new franchise player going to be?

David: Wouldn’t Surprise me if Artest gets traded/released in this draft.

Chitown needs a Star- I'm going Gilbert here If I'm the Bulls.

Joe: Did Paddy ever make a pick as GM of Chicago?

Joe: Well i see the Blazers take Corey Maggette and release Raef Lafrentz. I dont agree with this move here David but maybe there is something to prove. Has Kobe even been picked up yet?

David: Like I said the Lakers were not Contracted. They keep their players

David: Chi-Town Passes! Incredible!

David: Raef is pretty good- and uncapped is worth a roster spot- I don;t quite get the Maggette pick- I mean WHOA! But its a fun draft so far.

Joe: Yes there are a few players I would still pick up in a hurry. Tim Duncan, Chris Paul, deron williams, allen iverson to name a few.

David: Duncan is Gone at Number 4. Paul is NOT AVAILABLE,  AI is

Joe: Well Dwade just picked Chris Paul so we need to give him a memo.

Joe: Wow Joe made his pick with Allen Iverson. The Jazz have always been a two guard away from being a title team. They have had a void ever since Jeff Hornacek retired for them. Sure Derek Fisher filled the void but he is back on the Laker ride for now.
