Ouch Andy. Wow Aaron. "Hey ANDY!!! ANDYYYYY!!!!!" says Posada. You don't see to many risks like that taken in the game. Lucky it worked out. If you didn't believe the Yankees had issues before you officially can now. Hill had a good 3.5 seconds to cover some serious distance before Pettite knew what was going on. Andy is still the Yankees best pitcher to date. He still had a good game. Marcum only matched him pitch for pitch.
Speaking of which, the "replacement rotation" as I like to call them have been pitching clutch for the Jays the last few weeks. Jesse Litch seemed to have sparked the club with his impressive debut outing. Hasn't sparked the club since, but that first spark seemed to have been all they needed. Doc taking back Litch's spot in the rotation may be the turning point in the season. It can only go uphill from here as guys get healthy one by one.
Rios has to be the best player in the line up right now just in front of Overbay, Hill, and Glaus. The only downside is I'm not to sure we'll ride the wave long enough for the next series against the Red Sox. Then again I don't think the Sox can ride their wave long enough either.
Lets have Litsch pitch his final game of this year tomorrow and have a great game and finish off the Yankees.
