As anyone who only watches TV once a week would know, Barry Bonds is about to break what is arguably the most prestigious record in sports:  the most career home runs.  Currently, Hank Aaron is on top of the list while Bonds sits at number two.  Its been speculated for about the past half-dozen years that Bonds was one of the players involved in the BALCO case and used steroids.  Because of this, it appears that the majority of American people don't won't Bonds to break the record.  Now, its not too hard to tell that Barry Bonds is not the nicest guy in the world.  You can pick up on this by the way he is isolated in the Giants' dugout and by how he will conduct himself in interviews.  Just another reason why the American people have this anti-Bonds idea about the record.  But I really don't care if Bonds breaks the record.  I have absolutely nothing agianst the man and I sort of feel sorry for all the hatred cast down on him.  Remember that Hammerin' Hank and The Babe weren't the greatest human beings in the world, either, as Aaron was pretty mcuh racist against whites and that Ruth didn't lead a lifestyle his momma would've been proud of.  I guess I do care whether or not Bonds gets the record...I hope he does.  Too bad nobody else really agrees.

Aaron was a racist against whites??? Oh wait, I just looked at your profile and see you are from Alabama, I guess that explains your ignorant comment. Barry Bonds is an incredible baseball talent who unfortunately decided to use illegal substances to get stronger and heal faster. And is he probably the biggest **** in sports. He will break the record and retire and I hope I never hear about him again.

Yep, I'm an Alabama redneck and proud of it. I'm very glad I'm not from Califronia where ****, ****, and illegal immigrants are all accepted.

Dude, you need some serious help.

I hope Bonds hits 756 at Fenway in June and someone spits on the ball and throws it back!

What kind of help?

Nice picture, though.

Listen, I'm just b white guy from Ohio that lives in California now. Aaron was constantly threatened by whites while he was chasing Ruth's record and he has always and continues to be a complete gentleman. I just can't beleive that someone would call him a racist, that comment just blew me away. Glad you like the picture.

Aaron definitely had the right to be mad at whites during that time period. But I don't see how you can say he's still being a complete gentelman today.
