NFC EAST: Philadelphia Eagles: Although they let go stallworth to the pats, McNabb will be back and healthy and they will have a another pro bowl season from running back Brian Westbrook. Kevin Curtis fits the game type of McNabb in going deep. He is small but very fast and can outsprint most of the cb's in the league or at least be a good distraction. Takeo Spikes and Jeremiah Trotter give the eagles one of the best linebacker duos in the league along with three pro bowl caliber d-backs( Dawkins, Sheppard and Brown). The Giants have lost tiki barber and will not be able to recover from a loss like that in less then a year. The redskins dont have a quarterback and clinton portis has been getting into some trouble with his mouth. The cowboys will give the eagles a run but this isnt last year when mcnabb was injured when the division rivals played, and Romo will not be as consistent as last year. The eagles will win the division by 2 games.
NFC WEST: St. Louis Rams: They will finally surpass seattle as division leader and make it into the playoffs past the first couple of rounds. Marc Bulger and Tory Holt are still in the middle of theri careers and are both putting up huge numbers. Stephen Jackson is one of the top backs in the league and Isaac Bruce will either act as a distraction or be distracted for. The Rams have one of the most expirienced and well rounded offenses in the league and they will upset the seahawks both games.
NFC SOUTH: New Orleans Saints: Jo Horn was not the dominant force the last few years as most people said he was so losing him will not kill him. Plus, they have one of the best upcoming recievers in Marques Colston. Reggie Bush is one of the most versatile backs in the league and should again lead rbs in catches and recieving yards. Deuce Mcallister is a great power running back who can get those tough yards that reggie might not be able to gain. Besides, they dont have much competition. The panthers are theyre biggest competitor but will lose a big force on defense in kris jenkins. The falcons are just going to be a reck this season with vick and the bucs are a flat out bad team.
NFC NORTH: Chicago Bears: This one was a no-brainer. They have no competition. Although they are having some trouble with their players they still have one of the top defenses in the league that will shut down any body else in the north. Rex will have learned from at least some of his dumb mistakes that he made last season and will lead them back to an 11 win season. I'm preety sure that Green Bay, Minnesota or Detroit will not pass them. The team with the best chance is Green Bay because of their recievers but tillman and the dbacks from chicago will shut them out easily. Muhhamed and desmond clark will put up the numbers necessary to win the decision, along with running back Cedric Benson who is an up and coming solid running back.
