In response to:
Will OSU seek Self's help?
The natural candidate for Oklahoma State is Kansas' Bill Self, who played at OSU, met his wife in Stillwater and coached under Eddie Sutton there. Self says if someone from OSU were to call him, "I would strongly recommend that they move in a different direction." With Sean Sutton out as coach of Oklahoma State's basketball team, Mike Holder will be making his first hire in a revenue-producing sport since taking over as athletic director on Sept. 16, 2005. The stakes are higher now that Dallas billionaire Boone Pickens' gifts to improve OSU athletics have grown to more than $300 million. You don't get rid of Sean Sutton, whose father's name is on the court at Gallagher-Iba Arena, unless you're ready to bring in an established name. Holder will aim high, and Pickens will give him whatever he needs.
4 MILL PER, WILL I THINK GET SELF TO COME TO STILLWATER KANSAS WONT COMPETE WITH THAT,BUT IF HE DOES LEAVE EVERY TIME A ROCK CHALK FILLS THERE CAR WITH GAS THEY WILL BE PAYING BOONE BACK FOR THAT LARGE PER YEAR SALARY OR UP FRONT MONEY.

I don't think this will happen but there are several factors that could contribute to this happening.
